This exhibition is the only rail transit industry exhibition in France supported by France, and also the second only rail transit exhibition in Western Europe. The exhibition is hosted by the famous European Mark organization and strongly supported by the French railway industry Association (FIF), French railway company (SNCF), European Railway Infrastructure Institute, Eurotunnel and other six industry organizations. The exhibition takes French and French areas as the center, radiating the global market. It is a well-known professional exhibition in the global rail transit industry. The exhibition is only open to professionals.
France International Rail Transit Technology Exhibition is a well-known professional exhibition in the global rail transit industry, and is a good platform for railway products and technology display in Western Europe. France has the second largest rail network in Europe, with a total network of 29,000 kilometers, and is still expanding. More than 50% of them are electrified railways, with more than 1,900 kilometers of high-speed railways. In France, six cities have subways and light rail, and 26 are under construction.
The ninth exhibition held in 2015 has made significant progress compared with the previous one, attracting 430 exhibitors from 47 countries, with an exhibition area of 18,000 square meters. Of the exhibitors, 25% came from countries outside France. More than 4,900 professional visitors came from 38 countries and regions, 15% of which came from countries outside France. During the three days of the exhibition, the organizing committee held railway-related forums and conferences, including the first French Railway Industry Association Conference, the French Vehicle Supply Conference and the regional award awarding ceremony. The number of exhibitors and visitors is expected to hit a new high in 2015.
